Advantages for Data center

Safety Standards

Technical textiles are designed with protective features. Their unique properties, combined with reduced risk, effort, and upkeep, ensure superior safety.

Long-lasting solution

Embracing technical textiles means embracing sustainability. Our materials are distinguished by their durability, fire resistance, acoustic performance, and potential for reuse in new applications. Additionally, the material's minimal volume reduces transport movements to a minimum.

The strength of textiles

Enhancing the living environment or achieving fire resistance and improving acoustics. With a lifespan of at least 15 years, a lightweight structure, and protection against sun and precipitation, technical textiles offer the ideal solution for construction needs.

Tailored solutions

We understand that every project has its own unique requirements, which is why we offer tailored solutions designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. The versatility of technical textiles combined with our expertise in textile architecture guarantees that every project receives the perfect solution.

Continuance

To keep industrial processes running smoothly, continuity is essential. By selecting technical textiles, you ensure minimal maintenance and peak efficiency. With our rapid installation times, interruptions are minimized, because every lost moment is a moment too many.

Data centers are equipped with various servers and network equipment that generate significant heat. Traditionally, cooling systems rely on chiller decks placed on rooftops to dissipate this heat. However, a significant challenge arises when cold and warm air flows, generated by the equipment, converge on these chiller decks (where cold air intakes and warm air exhausts are placed close together). This intersection negatively impacts cooling efficiency, as the mixing of warm and cold air diminishes the system's ability to effectively intake cool, fresh air. Consequently, there is increased energy usage, decreased cooling efficiency, and a increased risk of equipment malfunctions.

The Datex innovation

Datex provides a revolutionary approach to addressing the problem of converging airflows on chiller decks. By utilizing our specially designed material in a revolutionary way, a dedicated cold aisle has been created. A mesh fabric layer is placed between the cold air intakes and warm air outlets. This fabric is resistant to all weather conditions, with an openness of 5% to 55% that allows water and snow to pass through, which enables the use of a lighter structure due to the reduced load on the fabric. Datex is a cost-effective, lightweight, durable, and aesthetically pleasing solution for managing the separation of cold and warm air flows around chillers.

The textile material

Datex is a specially developed technical textile consisting of pre-stressed fibers with a coating layer. It can be customized with various compositions and openings as requested, options include transparent or opaque textile variants in various colors. The mesh fabric's openness ranges from completely closed to translucent with 5% openness. The base material is available in widths up to 3 meters, and larger sizes are joined using a high-quality HF weld, which matches the strength of the base material. Datex is made from polyester and fiberglass fabric with UV-resistant and moisture-resistant coating. The cover is open, weighs approximately 450 g/m², and has a thickness of 0.70 mm.
