Frontenpark car park
We have completed a new parking facility in Maastricht that combines functionality with aesthetic appeal. The new facade of the parking garage is a true visual delight.
Continental Car Parks has been appointed by Q-Park Netherlands to develop a new parking facility in Maastricht. The three-story structure, located within a short distance of the city center, will offer 577 additional parking spaces. The challenge was to design a façade that combines aesthetic appeal with innovation while integrating seamlessly with its surroundings, with Polyned selected as the partner for this project.
In collaboration with MH1 Architects and out partner Printable, we have delivered a 2900 m² façade, which is the largest fully printed façade in Europe and adds distinctive aesthetic value to the building. The façade features carefully aligned patterns for a visually smooth transition. Our team handled all aspects of the project, including engineering, wind load calculations, production, and on-site assembly, ensuring that the façade met all technical and visual criteria.
The façade of the Frontenpark parking garage represents a blend of innovative design and advanced technology. Both Q-Park Netherlands and Continental Car Parks are satisfied with the result, noting the façade’s functionality and its artistic enhancement of the environment through advanced printing techniques and precise installation.
This accomplishment highlights our capability to handle complex and large-scale projects incorporating technological innovations. The project illustrates how our expertise in providing both aesthetically and technically advanced solutions leads to outstanding results, elevating client satisfaction and the visual appeal of urban infrastructure.
Full in-house capabilities from start to finish
Our designer creates an initial sketch and provides an artistic rendering to deliver a clear visual solution for a realistic image. We also provide a cost estimate.
If you're pleased with the sketch and budget, we'll move on to the preliminary design phase, complete with final calculations, including design specifications, costs, and structural requirements.
Before we proceed with production, we finalize the construction details in a binding timetable.
Our next step is to execute the production and installation plan. Materials will be packed and delivered to the site, where our VCA-certified technicians will manage the installation.
Once the installation is complete, a handover with the project leader will take place, during which everything will be thoroughly checked. We also provide maintenance and service, customized to the project and in agreement with the client.
